Don’t let the rehearsal dinner shenanigans roll into your wedding morning!!!

I have seen this in more weddings than not, and guess what is most often expressed? “regret” #facepalm. Whether the dinner runs late, and everyone pulls you to going out afterwards… ugh it may not be worth it!!! Fun? Yes, but the last thing you want to feel on one of the most important days of your life is nauseous, bloated, and swollen, and exhausted.

Some tips you can take away that I plead with you to put into action are as follows…

Who says that your rehearsal dinner must be the night before your wedding?! What if you scheduled it a few days beforehand and go out and have fun!

If the dinner must be the night before, try and schedule it for as early as possible. Begin the day sooner so you can get home and sleep like a little baby sooner. Typically, the bridal party and close family show up for the rehearsal, and its later on in the day, around 3? You rehearse for an hour and a half and head to dinner.

THINGS RUN LATE! If you have a good group of friends, there is always one making everyone else run late. Don’t wait for her, just fill her in! It’s okay! People are having to leave work earlier than usual often to even make it there at 3. So, make it at 1 or 2, and then head to dinner. There will be toasts, extremely… ungodly slow service… and you can enjoy your time!

By the time your tummy is full, and you drive home, you can do your Esther ritual, and get to bed early!!

Drink that water before bed, set several alarms and get your beauty sleep girl! Your wedding morning will start with angels singing, as well as no dark eye bags or upset stomach!!! You’re welcome. <3
