Hopefully this isn't the first time that tipping your wedding vendors has crossed your mind. Lets dig into the popular, yet unsettled debate of whether or not you should be tippiing yur vendors or not.
Is tipping expected?
Should you be tipping all of your vendors?
If not... then which ones???
The question of whether or not to tip your wedding vendors is a subject of debate within the wedding planning community. On one hand, tipping is seen as a way to show appreciation for the hard work and dedication of the professionals who make your day special. It can be a gesture of gratitude for their exceptional service. On the other hand, some argue that vendors should price their services fairly and transparently, without the expectation of tips. They believe that you're already paying for their expertise and labor, and tipping is an additional, potentially costly, expense. Ultimately, the decision to tip your wedding vendors can be a matter of personal choice and budget. It's advisable to check your vendor contracts, as some may include gratuity, and, if you do choose to tip, it should reflect the quality of service you received.
I would also consider the amount of time certain vendors have given you. You can tell the quality of services given easily when it comes to your wedding day. Look at your wedding morning, your vendors are all there as a great big, beautiful team... helping your day to run as smoothly and gorgeously as possible. You can look back at your big day and tell very quickly when keeping this in mind who may have dropped the ball or not.
Don't forget, most vendors spend a lot of time and thought on you and most of them genuinely care to give you a wonderful day and wonderful service. Sometime after, make sure to set some time aside to leave helpful online reviews for those who took extra good care of you!
